Nancy Lawrentz, MSW, LSW
Nancy has experience providing individual and group therapy in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, who have a significant age gap, and she recently became a grandparent, which she considers a blessing. Her experiences of parenting children at very different stages of life have given her firsthand insight into the wide range of emotions, challenges, and transitions that can arise within families. These experiences have contributed to her understanding of how people express and manage emotions and have further strengthened the perspective and empathy she brings to her work with clients.

Nancy encourages clients to explore their experiences, identify their own motivations, and discover meaningful ways to make healthy changes. Her client-centered approach emphasizes partnership and personal choice, allowing her to support clients on their individual journeys rather than pressuring them to change.

Her work is grounded in compassion, advocacy, and genuine care for others, along with a thoughtful use of creativity and humor when appropriate. Nancy is a helper and healer which has assisted her in her journey in becoming a mental health professional.
