Monique has over 18 years of experience in counseling adolescents, adults, and seniors in a variety of outpatient settings. Monique is a Military Veteran, has been married for 15 years, has two children, and a doggie. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and crafting.

Monique is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems,
Internal Family Systems, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as a foundation for services. In addition, she uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Her approach involves helping you understand the influence of all life experiences on your beliefs, perceptions, and functioning in the world. Monique believes you are the expert in your world and will respect your opinions and beliefs. A comfortable, nonjudgmental, and supportive relationship between you and Monique is the foundation for a positive experience and relief from stress. If you wish, she can use techniques like cognitive restructuring, mindfulness, relaxation, and grounding skills to help you learn, heal, and live the life you want.
