She uses a client centered, non-judgmental approach to help meet you where you are at and to develop personalized goals based on the life you want to live. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Sand-Tray Therapy, Moral Reconation Therapy, and more. Katie uses mindfulness to help create a safe space for you to feel comfortable and be able to build rapport. She will help you learn to regulate your emotions and thoughts so you are not as entrenched with an internal experience that sometimes may feel out of control. You will learn to identify the nature and dynamics of triggers and learn to not only cope with these but also let these go.
