Approaches
Karly works with adults through a variety of methods to allow each client to see their strengths and full potential. Karly creates an inclusive environment so that you will feel comfortable in expressing your true self. Your treatment will be tailored to your unique needs and lifestyle. She is trained in Trauma-Informed Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and uses methods that will allow for you to recognize patterns or challenges you want to change. Karly also incorporates aspects of creative arts during sessions, especially with children and teens. She will focus on your relationships with others, balancing work or school with your life, being assertive, and alleviating symptoms of distress. Karly also works with clients on relaxation techniques. From there, you will come together to create an environment where you are comfortable to practice challenging your thoughts and behaviors. Karly focuses on your self-determination and meeting each client where they are. Doing this will allow you to focus on your strengths, accept the challenges you are having, and build a life that brings you happiness.

Her high-spirited personality allows for a strengths-based approach and the time she spends building rapport will allow for you to feel safe and comfortable during your sessions. Your time together will be focused on exploring your past and current life experiences and making connections to the stress, anxiety, or other symptoms you are having. She will help you see your strengths and opportunities in your life and build self-esteem and confidence to accomplish goals.
