Jessica Halper MSW, LSW
Jessica (She/Her) obtained her bachelor’s degree from Aurora University in Social Work and a minor in Psychology. She continued her education at Aurora University for a master’s degree in social work. Since graduating, she has worked with diverse populations with a variety of challenges. Jessica has an array of interests ranging from reading to exercise to relaxing at home with her family. Jessica’s family includes her husband, two children, and beloved dogs and cat.

Approaches
Jessica utilizes trauma informed practice when working with clients. Her therapeutic process is creating strong rapport and utilizing Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, a Strengths-based approach, and more. Jessica believes that when providing support, it is important to empower people to embrace their life situations and create their own change.
Jessica’s Personality
Jessica is easy-going, observant, and friendly. She believes everyone deserves dignity and compassion in all aspects of life. Jessica has been described as funny, empathetic, and supportive. Through her experiences in high-need environments, Jessica is known to provide a calm presence when a person is experiencing a stressful situation. Jessica is a constant advocate for her clients to make sure they are experiencing ethical and competent care.
