Ashley Hendrix MSW, LSW

Ashley is experienced in counseling adolescents and adults in a variety of outpatient settings. She is an avid reader, dedicated sister, daughter, and caretaker of four cats. In her spare time, Ashley loves watching movies and TV shows, Harry Potter, reading, friends, and adventures of any kind.

She uses evidenced based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and more. Her approach assists in creating a comfortable and safe space to connect and make lasting changes. Ashley believes that every step taken is progress toward goals.

Ashley’s Personality

Ashley is a fun-loving, empathic, down to earth, kind person who believes success can come through a connection with others, open-mindedness, and willingness. Ashley is described as “calming by nature” and “easy to talk to.” Ashley has overcome many obstacles herself, which helps her engage in an empathic and caring way. She believes laughter is therapeutic and that there can be space for it, if needed. Ashley views each appointment as a step in the right direction and shows this by her commitment to her clients.

Ashley works with children (aged 9 and up), families, and adults of all ages.
