Betsey is experienced in counseling adolescents and adults in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. She is married, a new mother and veteran cat mom. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, traveling, and drinking coffee.

Betsey uses evidenced based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Shame Resilience theory, Object Relations theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, EMDR, and Solution-focused therapy. Her approach involves helping you understand the relationship you’ve developed with yourself over the course of a lifetime by providing an objective space to contemplate life’s highs and lows. Betsey will provide you with encouragement while you resolve challenges and heal while helping you achieve improvement.
Betsey is sweet, gentle, smiley, and easy to talk to. Her personality will help you to feel comfortable. Betsey has a naturally empathetic and straightforward personality; she is not easily intimidated. Expect a casual and relaxed atmosphere with her, almost like you’ve known her a while.
